Qualified Person (QP - ESA)

In accordance with Ontario Regulation 153/04 Fortis employs a Qualified Person (QP) to oversee and authenticate all assessment work.

In order to become qualified, the practitioner must meet the following requirements. 


  • The practitioner must be registered and in good standing with or Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (PGO).
  • The practitioner must have at a minimum 48 months of work experience in the discipline.
  • The practitioner must have passed the Professional Ethics Exam administered by their association.

Certificate of Authorization

Fortis Environmental Inc. holds a Certificate of Authorization issued by PGO (Professional Geoscientists of Ontario) to perform the advertised professional consulting services. 

Insurance

Fortis Holds an insurance policy which covers Errors and Omissions claims up to $2 million. Please do not hesitate to contact us for copies of the insurance certificates prior to commencing work.
